The Buccaneers Men’s Basketball team took down the visiting Montreat College Cavaliers JV team 82-62 last night. The Bucs were lead by Freshman Regis Kendall who shot 7 of 10 from the field including 3-5 from the three point line totaling in 18 points. Freshman Josh McClain and Sophomore Preston Earle added 13, and 12 points respectively. Sophomores Isaiah Cuthbertson and Jalen Cannady each added 7 rebounds in the winning effort. Cannady also dished out 5 assists in the game.

The Bucs shot off to a quick start outscoring the Cavaliers 42-24 in the first half. McClain lead the charge scoring 11 of his 12 points in the first half. The Second half saw the Bucs maintaining momentum with the tam shooting 61.5% from the field in the second half. Kendall and Earle each poured in 10 second half points leading the Bucs to the 82-62 final.

The Bucs now hold a 7-3 record, and will be back home Monday night, December 10th at 7:00pm against conference foe Caldwell CC. This will be the last home game for CVCC in 2012.
