The Buccaneers Women’s Basketball team finishes up the 2012 portion of their schedule perfect with a 14-0 record after beating Thomasville Prep for the third time on the road 99-79.

The Bucs squad were lead by three Freshman scoring in the 20s with Gabrielle McClain scoring a game high 23 and Anika Jones and Kadeshia Gibbs adding 22 and 20 respectively. Sophomore Stephanie Cabral added 14 points to the winning effort. The Bucs maintained a steady lead holding the first half edge 47-35.

The Bucs finish the first half of the season with a 14-0 record and a 1-0 conference record. The Bucs also achieved history being ranked in the NJCAA top 20 for the first time and now holds their highest spot at #18. The Bucs will be back to play in the new year travelling to Div I opponent Spartanburg Methodist on January 8th. The Bucs will be back home on the 10th to play Rockingham CC.
