On Saturday the Men’s Buccaneers Basketball team took on the visiting Bulldogs from Pitt CC and fell 88-82. The Bucs offense was led by Freshman Rashawn Edwards who poured in 20 points for the Bucs. Sophomore Preston Earle added 14 points while fellow sophomores Cameron Redd and Anthony Hilliard added 13 each. Edwards was one rebound short of a double double grabbing 9 while Redd, Terrance Polk, and Jalen Cannady added 8 each.

The Bucs struggled offensively and were down 16 with 5 minutes left but were able to battle back to within 3 points. Before the Bulldogs finished off the game with free throws. The Bucs are now 10-6 and 0-2 in conference. They will travel on Wednesday to play another conference game against Guilford Tech, before returning to the Tarlton Complex on Saturday to face Lenoir CC at 4:00pm.
