HEAD COACH: Jeanne Conner

Jeanne Conner is an experienced International Cheerleading Competition Judge, having judged cheer and dance throughout the eastern USA as well as England for over 20 years.  She is in her ninth year as the Head Coach of the CVCC Cheerleaders.

Cheerleading experience: coaching scholastic and all-star cheerleaders, conducting stunt clinics and safety certifications, speaking at National Coaching Conferences in North Carolina and Florida, serving as a Competition Director for Cheer Ltd., Inc., a State Certifier for the National Council for Spirit Safety and Education, and judging CheerSport Nationals in Atlanta, the largest National Cheerleading Competition in the world.

STUNT COACH: James Conner

James Conner comes to us with extensive expertise in stunting, coaching and competition judging. He has conducted cheerleading clinics throughout the United States and England. He cheered in high school, was a member of the Hibriten State Co-Ed Championship team, was a varsity cheerleader at Appalachian State University, and went on to Coach at The NC School of Math and Science.

James was inducted into the UPA (United Performing Association) Hall of Fame for his contributions to cheerleading safety. He has published articles in the National Alliance for Youth Sports Journal and All-Star Cheer Magazine.
