HICKORY, N.C. — The Catawba Valley Community College men's and women's basketball teams will be holding a special "Meet the Red Hawks" basketball kickoff event on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6-8 p.m. at the Tarlton Complex.

Those in attendance will be treated to live music and get a chance to get their first look at the 2025-26 Red Hawk mens' and women's basketball teams, including players and coaches. 

There will be two intrasquad games and 3-point contests during the event as well as giveaways for prizes for those in attendance.
