HICKORY, N.C. — Seven members of the Catawba Valley Community College women's basketball team have been honored by Region 10 following the completion of the 2025-26 regular season.

The Red Hawks tied a program record for their most Region 10 Academic All-Region selections with seven. 

In order to be eligible for Region 10 Academic All-Region, a student athlete must have a 3.7 GPA after their first semester or a 3.6 GPA with two or more semesters.

Among those CVCC women's basketball players who were honored include Charlotte Coyer, Addison Sisk, Kameron Smith, Jordyn Adams, Durajah Hardin, Jonnah Castillo and Alexander Castillo.

Adam was also selected as Region 10 honorable mention for her play on the court this winter. The Ridgeway, S.C. product finished her first season as a Red Hawk averaging 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in 20 contests played (16 starts). Adams the Red Hawks in a few statistical categories, including points per game, steals and free throw percentage.
