The Catawba Valley Red Hawks traveled to Surry County on Monday, October 6th to face the Surry CC Knights in a 7:00 match. CVCC controlled the tempo winning in 3 straight sets 25-16, 25-15, and 25-16. Catawba Valley had 43 kills for the match, 5 total blocks and 4 aces. Aimee Cloninger led in the kill category with 12, followed by Tiffany Brooks with 9 and Anna Henderson with 7. Madison Pogue had 6 kills, 24 assists, 9 digs, as well as a block and an ace for the match. Katelyn Houser led defensively with 19 digs and Aimee Cloninger had 10. Hannah Griffin controlled the net with 2 blocks and also posted 5 kills for the night.
